Your Role:

As a Receptionist at Hotel Vondelgarden, you will be the face of our hotel, representing our commitment to hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences. Your warm demeanour, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure our guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries, providing information about the hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
• Handle reservation inquiries and manage booking systems.
• Assist guests with special requests and ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy, aiming to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch and other additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with guests and team members.
• Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Flexible schedule, shifts from 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 23:00
