About the hotel
Next to the idyllic Vondelpark and in one of the characteristic nostalgic streets of Amsterdam, a new 4-star Boutique hotel is opening its doors: Hotel Park6. The hotel offers a cozy and charming getaway for couples, families or business people who are visiting the vibrant city. When you enter the hotel, it immediately feels like a second home, beautifully designed, warm and inviting. It’s an innovative concept with the newest technology and a young professional team. You will be the person who adds to this great experience for people from all over the world.
What you are going to do
Welcoming and hosting guests: you are not just their regular receptionist, you are their community host, the person that makes them feel welcome and at home;
Checking-in and checking-out your guests;
Receiving and handling reservations;
Coordinating and organizing guest requests;
Handling incoming phone calls and emails;
Providing useful information about the hotel, the city and nice things to do;
Listen to the guests and providing them answers/ solutions in difficult situations;
Handle front office administration.
have a professional attitude and appearance;
have solid verbal and written communication skills (English), proficiency in Dutch and other languages is a plus;
have organizational and administrational skills;
have a proactive attitude, you take initiative and you are a born team player;
have a great love and passion for hospitality;
are living in or close to Amsterdam.
What we offer you
A part time or full time job: depending on your availability;
Day and evening shifts, from 08:00 - 16:00 and 16:00 - 00:00;
Hourly salary of €13,- + 8,33% monthly holiday pay);
